FAQ’s

What makes AERO/PACIFIC DRAPERY so unique?
We have been making custom draperies and blinds for over 50 years. We have successfully completed over 20,000 jobs over that time. We most often design window treatments for living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms. However, we have completed many jobs for schools, churches, synagogues, office buildings, boats, museums, RVs, movie sets, funeral homes, and home theaters.
How do I get started?
Just call us and make an appointment. At a time that is convenient for you, we will send a professional window treatment decorator to your home to take measurements and answer any questions that you may have. They will help you choose from a variety of fabrics and styles. Our experienced seamstresses will sew your draperies to order and our expert installers will make sure your custom-made blinds or draperies are a perfect fit.
Is there a charge for your In-home Design services?
No, there is absolutely no charge for us to come to your home and share our thoughts and ideas.
After I place my order, how long will it take before I receive my new custom blinds and/or draperies?
Your new custom-made draperies or valances usually arrive in about 4-5 weeks. Custom-made blinds or shades typically take about 2-3 weeks. We do offer an optional rush delivery service if you are in a hurry.
I'm on a tight budget. Can you still help me?
Absolutely. We have more than 10,000 yards of in-stock fabric that we offer at up to 50% off retail. We invite you to stop by our showroom anytime and browse. If you don't find what you are looking for there, another way to keep the cost more manageable is to consider decorating your windows in phases, starting with blinds and sheers and then adding draperies or valances as you are able.
How do I keep my new draperies or blinds looking like new?
Regular cleaning is the key. In general, sheers can be machine-washed on the gentle cycle, draperies must be dry-cleaned and blinds can either be wiped down or vacuum cleaned. We offer an ON-SITE cleaning service for sheers, draperies and blinds so that you won't have to go to the trouble of removing and then reinstalling your window treatments for cleaning.
